Races Off And On

Races Off And On: I found it quite a bummer to wake up and check my email with one about the Mardis Gras Inline Marathon reading ‘Due to circumstances beyond our control, the event will be rescheduled for 2008’. I think I know how organizers feel. When I used to organize the Toronto International Inline Race Weekend, I would bump into organizational roadblock after organizational roadblock. All the obstacles were amplified by crazy high prices for everything.

I’m glad I could offer you some good news to offset this cancellation. I was contacted by Alan Marcosson from Pyro Apparel. He’s got a race in the works which is taking place on Sunday May 13th called the Columbia Station Inline Skate Marathon. Click here and go to the 2007’ s event #5. You can also check out the flyer below.

PatinCarrera Updates: Get your translating software and websites fired up because there’s a whole bunch of juice skate news on PatinCarrera: Embrach Indoor (Switzerland) report, 2007 World Inline Cup provisional calendar, Spanish Team to take on the WIC, and Salomon is pulling out of the skate market.
