Happy New Year! First post of 2007: Roller Sports Canada- Fees & Forms

Happy New Year! First post of 2007: Roller Sports Canada- Fees & Forms: Recently, I received an email containing a few forms that need to filled out in order to become a member of Roller Sports Canada. Here they are: RSC Membership Fees Information Sheet (PDF) for Ontario skaters, RSC Membership Application (National), and RSC Membership Application (Provincial).

The RSC National Level Registration form covers competition at the Ontario Provincial Championship level, competition outside of Ontario and at the Canadian Championships. The RSC Provincial Level Registration form covers competition within the province only but
not a Provincial Championship.

Want to compete at the RSC National Championships (pictured above) and RSO Provincial Championships? The you must have a RSC Membership Application (National) form filled out

Want to compete in events outside of National and Provincial competitions, such as the RSO Speed Series or other independent races such as the Buffalo one pictured above as a member of an RSC registered club? Then you need to have the RSC Membership Application (Provincial) form filled out (I like the above picture by the way: Steve Robillard leads Carlos Penagos, me, Meaghan Buisson, and Bob Harwell into the turn around). Faces that you can't see include Herb Gayle, Jordan Belchos, and Lindsay Chard.

Ontario skaters from non-registered clubs will be classified as independents but will represent the province at the Canadian Championships. Athletes competing at an Ontario or Canadian Championship must be members in good standing of RSC 30 days prior to the event or the entry fee is doubled. You can upgrade from a provincial level to a national level at any time but there will be an extra fee of $5.00 for processing.
