Successful Failing, Pictures (NY 100k, Uboldo, HDB LT, Spain), Roller News (X Tech, Hildebrand, Ask Begg), Ice News (FlevOnIce, News, Games)

Successful Failing: If you're looking for a good book and supporting a good cause, the check out The Secret Of Successful Failing by Gina Mollicone-Long. From what I understand, a part of the sales will go to help support CAN Fund which is a fund set up to help provide funding for Canadian athletes.

I was involved in a Canada-wide phone conference involving athletes from different sports including cross country skiing, alpine skiing, canoeing, soccer, judo, and many other sports- we had the opportunity to speak with The Secret Of Successful Failing author Gina Mollicone-Long- she used me in one of her examples- she was very nice and very knowledgeable

This is a poster featuring Canadian archer Crispin Duenas- I was lucky to meet him and speak with him at length while at a CAN Fund function earlier this summer- the poster was made for CAN Fund

The lastest Inline Planet entry for Ask Bill Begg! discusses foot size and protein supplements.

Ice News (FlevOnIce, News, Games): I posted about FlevOnIce a few weeks ago- Team Rollerblade has posted an article about the venue- see FlevOnice drool drool drool- I like this; 'The new FlevOnice in Holland opens in just over one month. FlevOnice is the new multi-sport venue in the middle of Holland where in the future they would like to hold a World Inline Cup'.

Click here for some ice long track (and some short track) news.

Maarten Slembrouck’s Blog has an entry about the Opening Games in Turnhout. You'll find a couple of links to photo galleries.
