SpeedSK8ers.com has posted an interview with Joey Mantia- the interview is sweet and to the point.

Since we're on the interview 'bandwagon' right now, here's another interview from one of the world's coolest nicest best looking guys Peter Doucet- see Interview with Peter Doucet - Defining Inline Speed Skating and Social Media.

The thread Coaching Clinics has really come to life today, with lots of ideas being shared. It's a good read with some good history about a group called the P.E.T. (Performance Enhancement Team). While you read about coaching and training, you might consider following up your read with this article (in French) called etour sur le colloque dédié à l'entraînement- it reports on a coaching seminar that took place in France. The seminar focused on 8 themes with special presentors, including youth program (Sandrine Rabaud), sprinting (Julien Despaux), what equipment to use with age groups, classic push to double push (Christophe Audoire), training young skaters (Olivier Babonneau), vetarans participation in marathons (Caroline Lagrée), planning training programs (Alain Nègre), and mental preparation(Fabien Rabeau).

I don't recall if I posted the Koln Inline Marathon video. In case I didn't, here it is (or press play below).

Ice LT News: Andew Love posted a new entry; see Guys in Red- you can see pictures of him in his nice new USA suit!

A lot of items that I am linking to come from Skate Podium; a report complete with video on Heerenveen. Jennny Wolf skated an outdoor 500-meter record of 38.25- read more. Here is a live report with results on the KNSB Cup #2 in Heerenveen- you can check out the men's B video here.

You can read more on the Netherlands selections here (day 2) and here (day 3).

You can read the Norway national championships report- for results, see men's and women's.
