Get It While It’s Hot (Cold)- Long Track World Champs & Videos, The Short Track World Cup #6, Cartagena Over

Get It While It’s Hot (Cold)- Long Track World Champs & Videos: The Long Track All Round World Championships took place this past weekend. For full results, click here. In case you’re looking at the men’s 10km times, yes, the winning time is a 12:49.88- a new world record by Netherland’s Sven Kramer.

If you’d like to see a video of his record (it’s well worth the download), then click here. Make sure you download the video ASAP because I heard that the guy who puts the videos up usually takes then down within 24 hours. For 500-meter videos: Winner Erben Wennemars and winner Anni Friesinger.

The next video is of Erben Wennemars (he won the 500 and placed 10th in the 10k at the LT AR WC). CAUTION: If you’re young or you don’t like nudity or hot topless blonde women, DO NOT press play. Just check out how cool Erben Wennemars stays when he’s confronted with a streaker. I know how he feels because I always have those darn annoying streakers running along by my side…cough cough. BTW, the rink is SWEET, oh man oh man.

The Short Track World Cup #6: The ST World Cup #6 took place in Budapest, Hungary this past weekend. Click here for results, here for extensive coverage on OhnoZone.net, here for some photos, and here for an article about Olivier Jean on the CBC. Note that a few of my 24-hour Inline Montreal relay team mates were in the medals once again, including Olivier Jean, Tysen Heung, & Francois Louis Tremblay.
