Cartagena Day 3: Racing at the pre-worlds race in Cartagena is rolling along. To understand how deep the field is and how good the skaters are, just click on the results and check out the 200-meter times. There is another update on the Inline Planet Forum which contains a whole bunch of talk about the action.
Road racing begins today- Italy's Zangarini in the lead
A Few Videos: Click here (or press play below) for a video from the 1998 Northshore Inline Marathon. While I was out on the break, I was still asleep; I woke up really late that morning, crashed my rental car, and made it to the line with seconds to spare.
This next video is from the Central Park Marathon in Central Park. I was in that race (you’ll see me in the grey Mogema suit); Dane Lewis set a killer pace and Steve Robillard and another skater did a good job bridging the gap (click here or press play).
The final video is of the 300-meter senior men’s race at the Italy Indoor Champs (click here or press play).
A Few Links: Here are a few links for you to expore: Champion System, Passion On Wheels (Jacky Shu), and Samurai Noir (Ed Leung).

Nice Ice: The Protocol is a site that voices strong opinions; with posts including Why WHIP will fail, the content is a good read and gives you food for thought.
Il Mondo Della Corsa: I have no idea of the text means, but it does look like there’s a bunch of skater profiles of Italian skaters on the FIHP site.
