Canadian Boots And Dealer, More Kiwis Off To The WIC, Wolverines Marathon, A Blast From The Past, Houston’s Marathon

Canadian Boots And Dealer: This is a plug for Seb Boots and Shoei Creations. Check them out, they’re both on the good side of the sport.

SEB Skates' Robert Mitchell comes through in 4th place ahead of Jonothan Royer (winner of the 2006 Defi de L'Ile de Montreal) and Stephane Tremblay at the 2006 OutGames in Montreal

More Kiwis Off To The WIC: I will never forget the first time I saw New Zealand’s Peter Michael take on the world’s best juniors in 2005. He won the race10km points/ elimination race (track) in a really exciting fashion. He broke away with a skater from Australia, then soloed the race and won point after point. When he was caught in the closing laps, he still managed to out-sprint all but one of the skaters who chased him all race long.

New Zealand's Peter Michael- in the black on the inside of the Italian skater- will take on the world's best this year on the World Inline Cup circuit

Anyways, to make a long story short, he’s headed onto the WIC circuit this year. I’ll be watching the results with interest to see how he performs. Seeing what he could do again at the 2006 world championships, I think that with the right support, he could be a threat for podium finishes.

Wolverines Marathon: I searched and searched for the results from the Wolverine Inline Marathon for a few weeks after the race. I eventually gave up my search, but yesterday I checked the race website and finally found the results.

A Blast From The Past: Remember Microsport?

Houston’s Marathon: Jmac posted on RaceReport.net’s forum that the Houston Inline Marathon will take place on November 3rd and 4th in downtown Houston. Look got more information to come.
