ISU Long Track World Cup- Women's 500 WR: As I type this, I can hear my two dumb-faces (aka cats) fighting... Ok, onward with today's update. The 2nd day of the ISU long track world cup #2 is underway in Calgary. Just like yesterday, here is the link with all the results.
When you go through the results from Friday, you may notice that Germany's Jenny Wolf skated to a 500-meter world record of 37.02. Speedskating-Online has some reporting from day 1- it's interesting to note that 'Even though Wolf raced to a world record today, it is not of much use for Calgary to get back into the race with Salt Lake City over being the fastest ice on earth, since Calgary already owned this world record.'. Skate Podium also has an article about Wolf's record.

Ohno & Bank Of America: According to Ohno Zone, Apolo Ohno has formed a partnership with Bank of America.
Roller Equipment: Roller En Ligne has posted a review of the Sierra Tomcat.
You can expect some upcoming information on the 2008 Rollerblade skates.
This is pretty cool- a new concept wheel- New Concept Wheel 'T-MAXX-T3'. I can't write about it, but I'll copy what's written; 'SNS has tested a new concept wheel "JAWS" in 2007. And they release a new wheel "T-MAXX-T3" as the results. SNS and MPC are alike at a point of the Dual Durometer Wheels. In case of the MPC wheel, the inner urethane of the wheel is soft while the outer urethane is hard. But in SNS wheel, the center hard urethane of the wheel is sandwiched between soft urethane. It means that this wheel roll fast on the center and obtain strong grip on both side of the wheel'.
