LocalMN Blog has had some interesting posts, but the skating relevant entry is called A Closer Look at the Inaugural Houston Inline Marathon- how's this for props? 'Justin McMurtry did a fantastic job coordinating the inaugural Houston Inline Marathon from the registration, zoning auto traffic, cool pre-race expo at the Last Concert Cafe, and putting together a great race-day event, and more. This isn’t easy at all'.
Shani Davis Skating World Cup This Weekend: After surfing around and finding news that Shani Davis would not be competing in this weekend's long track world cup in Salt Lake City, some new developments have surfaced. If you haven't guessed by my 'title', it is being reported that USA's Shani Davis is competing in the long track world cup, which begins today. Go to Shani Davis Speedskating and you'll find the words 'Shani will not skate Salt Lake City World Cup' crossed out.

Heelys & Disney: The Inline Planet has posted an article called Did Disney Dump Skaters for Heelys?. Did skating get dumped? Ugh! Not cool, not cool at all. I got dumped by a girl with who I once went to skate the Disney Marathon, and it was not cool, not cool at all. Hehehehe.
