CBC Interview, Mississauga Crit, USA Indoor Nats, Ask Bill Begg, Passion On Wheels, RB Zug & Worlds, 24 Hours Report & Pics, CRISC Nats Pics

CBC News Interview: I need to thank Morgan Williams for arranging the interview with the CBC. Thanks to him knowing a few people and making a few phone calls, The Toronto Inline Skating Club, SpeedSkateWorld.com, Mike Murray, roller sports, Sarah Hokins, and I were all mentionned and featured on national television.

The interview took longer than I thought. Jeremy at the CBC did a lot of background research and the questions were to the point. Sarah and I got to talk about training, our excitement for the games, equipment, and a few other things.

I am pretty sure this was Sarah's and my first time being interviewed live on national television. I was surprised on how relaxed I was. I think I was just really happy to talk about skating on tv- the Pan American Games and Morgan Williams openned the door for this great opportunity to promote the sport.

Inside the CBC- security is taken extremely seriously- there are many floors with many people with many desks and many tv's and many computers, it is very nice to look at the whole operation from the inside

Sarah and I were outfitted with mics and eat pieces. I looked over at Sarah a few times during the interview- she did a good job answering the questions even though she was blushing

Hey pete. the Crit sounds awesome, i read through the info but I'm still not quite sure what a Crit is. You might want to mention that there is a skate race with the bikes and what its all about because I thought yOu were plugging a bike race for skaters to go to. Anyways, you shouldn't even bee updating your site. Focus on the task at hand... whooping some butt. good luck and have fun, I know you will
