Good Night... Er, I Mean Good Morning

Good Night... Er, I Mean Good Morning: I am writing this entry in the wee hours of the morning. It is likely that as I write this, Jade Pauley is flying somewhere over the Atlantic ocean on his way to Switzerland. Andrew Hegarty's post Full House includes a run-down of the names & nations of skaters that have stayed where he currently resides. Jade Pauley will soon be there.

I was surprised to see Jade when I arrived at yesterday's Toronto Inline Skating Club practice. I thought he was flying from Vancouver to Switzerland, but it ends up that he first returned to Toronto from Vancounver, and was planning on leaving for the airport during practice.

In case you're interested, things are going very well with the Toronto Inline Skating Club right now. Eric Gee is coaching the intermediate/ kids group and I am coaching the racing program with a lot of imput & direction from Mike Murray. There are lots of skaters in both groups and they are thriving and loving inline skating.

I am sad to say though that there was a fall during the warm up of yesterday's practice. As a result, I ended up spending the better part of the evening/ night/ morning at the hostpital with one of the fallen skaters. Thankfully, the trip to the hospital ended up being more of preventative and all is fine.

I seem to have all these grandiose plans to do this & do do that. What's funny- in a non-funny way- is that one fall or crash causes me (or anyone for that matter) to throw those plans out the window. For example, last night I wanted to updated SSW with a whole bunch of goodies, but the unplanned hospital trip is now affecting what you're reading. I guess you'll just have to be a little more patient for the next SSW update! Hopefully I'll have more updates online by this evening. I'm now off to bed, good night... er, I mean good morning.
