Canadian Nationals Over: Quick update- Canadian championships are now over. Today- day 2- was rained out. I am now off to Montreal and I am training with Brian Jalbert tonight. More updates tonight or tomorrow.

do you have results for the nats?
witch events where rained out? Was it all the long distances? Are you still going to be able to crown the chapions of the year?

Hey there- I don't have the results. As soon as I get them & have permission to post, I will do so.
The program was a 2 day program- they go through all the day 1 events and then in anticipation of the rain, some races were held on Saturday evening, so some of the day 2 program was completed (World Class 10k points/ elim).
World class races held (300, 1000, 10k, 20k), masters/ grand masters (300, 5k).
They did crown champions at the awards presentation- in the event of ties in distance or sprint, the higher placement went to the skater who had a better finish in the shorter (sprint) or longer (distance race).
For the overall (combined) champions, the ties were not broken, so there were vice champions.
