Rennes WIC Stuff: As we’re coming to expect, more and more things are emerging from yesterday’s Rennes Sur Roulettes WIC- I’ll get you going with the results- you can use the following links: Men’s International Marathon 43.5km (WIC), Women’s International Marathon (WIC) 52.2km, open men 30km, open women 30km.

Aaron Arndt's pre-race post (To Rennes) is pretty entertaining to read as well. He says 'I have not heard flattering things about this race this weekend. At the house we all had a good laugh at how awful it was going to be last night, actually. Rain, slippery, cobbles, narrow, corners, metal grates, diesel covered pavement, hills, paint, and a "stupid-hard" pace that is sure to be set by the ‘better rain skaters, and those on the right wheels that day. Apparently, "When Chad did this race, he was lapped out twice." The thing is, the course is 3.5km. Ouch. I remember Kalon saying that; "If you haven’t raced Rennes in the rain, then you’re not a real racer." And that if "you’ve done Rennes in the rain and not crashed, you’ve done something pretty spectacular." I think that was my favorite quote of the night'.

Eastern Seaboard Series: I like what’s being said about the ESS in this post could the eastern seaboard series be the best outdoor race seies in the country???. I really enjoy the ESS, it’s a fantastic series. I can’t wait to get to Bob Rodale park and race it out with the boys. 3 Race Weekend: Three races in one weekend, is it possible? If you include Monday the 28th, then it is possible! The Major plugs three upcoming races that are within driving distance of each other AND on the same weekend: Saturday May 26th; Detroit's Wolverine Inline Marathon, Sunday May 27th; Elkhart, and Monday May 28th; The Great Race. I've done some 3-race weekends, but the three races (Rolling Rampage, Sanair Green Track, and an RSO Speed Series) were packed into 2 days- it was tough, really tough!
