FIRS Masters: The world masters championships are supposedly set be taking place on June 17th on the day of the Zurich WIC. As happy as we can be, the threads FIRS treats masters 42km WC with NO RESPECT !!! and WORLD MASTERSraise some issues and concerns that some have with the worlds maters- 30 days notice isn't enough for you master skaters out there? Jeez, you're quite the damanding group of skaters, aren't you (I hope you can tell that I am being sarcastic)!!?

Netherlands Pics & Results: The Netherlands Championships are taking place this weekend; Timmerman Powerslide is all over this event, with videos, interviews, results, and reports (not in english)- I would go to the site ASAP and check it out just in case it goes away into internet nowhere-land. I don't have time to figure out how to embed the videos...

Now off to another race in the Netherlands; I love when pictures come from the Netherlands- I’ll start you off with HdBF's pictures and SBN's report (with results linked at the bottom) from the Heerenveen Power Play Race.

The link that I'd like to emphasize today is Sébastien Et Brian Inc. Notice the name Brian in there? Yes! That's right, it's good 'ol jolly Brian Jalbert, the same skater that I will try to beat this weekend at the Pan American Games trials. Seriously, he's a good guy, he's fast, he loves the sport, and he's a friend as well.
