Short Track World Juniors, Back & Forth We Go, More Inspiration Courtesy Andrew Love
Short Track World Juniors: I’m starting off today’s news with a link to the results from the world short track championships, which took place in the Czech Republic. The SkatingSisters website has links to photos.
Ukraine's 18-year old Ievgen Gutenov following Russia's 19-year old Artem Volikov
Back & Forth We Go: Here are a few of threads that have been entertaining, informative, and concerning to read.
The first thread posted on Skate Log’s Forum is called Speed Team Drama. The conversations touch on speed leagues and politics and the development of the sport.
The second thread from the Hyper Board is called Palm Beach Challenge RESULTS here. In this thread, you’ll find very little talk about results. Instead, you’ll be treated to a lot of talk about wheels. If you are willing to sift through the posts, you will find some really good information about wheels, marketing, and other tid-bits about roller speed skating.
The last thread I’d like to link up with is Cracks in the Ice- Those are cow chips, not ice chips on the Hyper Message Board. Lots of conversation about the Wheels On Ice Program and its potential impact on roller and ice speed skating.
More Inspiration Courtesy Andrew Love: Make sure you read through Andrew Love's most recent post called One Of These Days. The hilight of the post is the video- I think this is one of Andrew's best and most inspirational videos- there is a ton of footage that will get you remissing, pumped, excited, and whatever other words I can fit here- click here or click on the image below.
