Short Track World Cup (Montreal) Day 2 Video and Photos
The second day of the 4th world cup race of the short track speed skating year was a lot of fun to watch. I spent 4 hours watching semi-finals and finals at Maurice Richard Arena. Glenn Koshi was in the stands along with Aaron Arndt and Steve Robillard. There were also a few skaters from Roller-Montreal there watching the action.
Here is the video that I made; enjoy (you can click here for it).
Some of the hilights included Jordan Malone winning his first solo world cup medal in the 1000-meter, coming behind Canadian Charles Hamelin. Olivier Jean was in a good position to win a medal in the 1500-meter, but was disqualified when on the last lap, he tried to pass up to take the lead going into the corner and bumped a Korea skater. Read about day 2 action on OhnoZone.net.
