From Cali- Entry #9

From Cali- Entry #9: Some of the team members have gone to the track for the 300-meter sprints. Sergio, Jesse, and I stayed back at the hotel because our races are much later. Martine and Alex should be racing their 300-meter sprints soon.

Remember that you can use the links to the right to dig all sorts of results, stories, photos, videos, interviews, and other good stuff.

Today's menu includes 10km points races. Sergio and I will be racing in the heats around noon-time. With almost 70 skaters in the senior men, each heat will see about 35 skaters take to the track and vie for a top-18 finish which takes then into this evening's final.

Mister Taylor (our team manager) went to the CIC meeting and he said there were all sorts of people shouting and yelling. It was decided that for the 500-meter sprints, there will be heats of 6 or 7 skaters with the top-4 of each heat advancing to the next round.
