From Cali- Entry #5
From Cali- Entry #5: There's not a lot to report right now from Cali. The facility is still under construction. The workers are working hard to complete the work. There has been some rain in Cali over the last few days which has either delayed or cancelled our practices. This could be a good thing because I've been skating very hard and I think the rest will be good.
One of the more exciting adventures was when our taxi driver got into a fight with a motor bike man. The two drove side-by-side for some time, shouting at each other, threatenning to put each other in their tombs. They then stopped, and continued to shout and the argument escalated. They then started to move again, shouting and steering towards each other, stopping, starting, stopping, refusing to back down...
The sky right before our practice... and our practice was delayed due to rain. Surprise surprise

I think the Korean skaters are doing luggage lifts. I beleive this is their secret training that makes them fast. I will try luggage lifts later
