Still In Transit To Cali For Worlds: Take 3:00am wake up time, long line ups in Toronto, an 11-hour wait in Miami which includes a rented car, a beach, and a massive sunburn, and you've got this moment that I am in.

I'm sitting here at the airport in Miami- still 2+ hours until the flight boards, Morgane Echardour is wide asleep, and a number of the USA world team skaters are a few meters from me. I had to connect to the internet to get the hotel details to give to the taxi once we arrive in Cali. I hope I don't get lost or mugged.

The rest of the Canadian team will trickle into Cali over the next few days. Sergio Almeralla (senior men) will arrive on the 12th, Jesse Pauley (junior men) will meet Tyler Congdon (Manager/ coach), Alex D'mello (Junior men), and Leah Katula (senior women) in the USA and they will arrive on the 13th. Martine Charbonneau is currently in Bogota and she will arrive in Cali on the 14th.

Once we arrive in Cali tonight, we will hopefully find our hostel, pass out, and sleep in tomorrow. Tomorrow will serve as reconaissance- finding good water, food, the track, practice times, taxis and transport.

I still have a few hours left until my flight takes off and I am trying to chose which movie to watch from the 80+ movies that I have... 300 (the movie) was amazing!

Ohh ohh, more skaters just arrived at our gate to wait for the flight- it's the German team, how cool!

I'll let you in on a secret before I head off (and before I don't post all the links and news that I have saved up since the last few days and that I plan on posting later...), worlds is an amazing skating competition, and I am very lucky to be there.
