Back From My Weekend Trip, Seoul World Inline Cup, Trois Pistes, Las Vegas Photos, Tampa Classic Invitational Reports, Korea ST National Team Trials

Back From My Weekend Trip: What a wild weekend in skating it was eh? I know the weekend has been over since yesterday really, but I`m not working until tomorrow, so therefore I consider today as part of the weekend.

During the last couple of days, I had the opportunity to spend some time with my family including my brother, his partner, and of course my 4 month old newphew Sebastien. There was also a whole bunch of aunts, uncles and cousins. I also and enjoyed skating and training with friends from Roller Montreal and go running in the snow and biting cold.

I missed a lot of racing action this weekend since I didn`t have access to the internet- and now I am spending a few hours catching up on all the different postings on a bunch of websites. This update will be `quick and dirty`; I am in a computer lab in Montreal and the spell check is in French and it`s doing some pretty funky things to what I am typing.

Seoul World Inline Cup: Well, let`s get the skating portion of today`s entry started. As you probably know, the Seoul World Inline Cup was contested this past weekend and over 7000 skaters took part. The following links are for you to enjoy: Inline Planet article Bowe Is Surprise Winner in Seoul, click for World Inline Cup results, a report with results on PatinCarrera, a report with photos from Team Rollerblade, a few results on the official website,

Trois Pistes: I love the new 3 Pistes website- it`s great, and they`ve got day 1 and day 2 results posted, with more racing to be completed tomorrow. If you`re thirsty for pictures of the event, Roller En Ligne is coming through in time; click here. Team Rollerblade also posted a short report.

Las Vegas Photos: Mark Virtue is an aweseme picture taker person- he is sharing a whole bunch of pictures from the recent Las Vegas High Roller`s Invitational. You will probably need all week to browse the pictures and really appreciate what you see. Mark Virtue posted that with a $20 donation to send the best, you can get two DVD`s with 27 thousand pictures from the event. That`s a lot of pictures!!

Tampa Classic Invitational Reports: PatinCarrera has posted two updates for the Tampa Classic Invitational; one for April 7th and the second for April 8th. They`re in Spanish, but if you`re tight for time, Guido (PC`s webmaster) has included some results at the bottom.

Korea ST National Team Trials: You can access results from Korea`s Short Track National Team trials for the 2007/ 2008 season. According to OhnoZone, Hyun-soo Ahn and Sun-yu Jin have byes so they`re on the team.
