Ottawa Mileage Club, St-Patrick’s Day Invitation Results, Skating Club Cassano, Upcoming Events, Grand Rouen, Hegarty’s Little Things

Ottawa Mileage Club: Here’s one that might interest you: Ottawa Inline Skating Club’s Mileage Club. Lots of goodies for you to input. What’s really cool about the Mileage Club is that they’re currently trying to forge an association with The Ottawa Food Bank and there’s a possibility of getting a radio station in on the action. Good stuff. OISC’s Turkey Roll, which helps the Ottawa Food Bank is set for September 29th.

St-Patrick’s Day Invitation Results: The title says it all: click here to check out the results.

Skating Club Cassano: Check out Skating Club Cassano; you’ll find that some of the news that I link up to in the future will come from their website. If you’re a non-Italian reader like me, you’ll probably only really get to enjoy seeing the pictures and recognizing the odd name here and there, unless you use an online translation software tool- I find the online translation programs really slaughter what you’re trying to translate, and it comes out more confusing that what you put in at the start. The last couple of updates on the site are loaded with pictures! Speciale Concorezzo and Speciale Cantu.

Upcoming Events: I can’t say enough good things about the Eastern Seaboard Series- it’s a great series which features a great course, lots of skaters- fast and slow- the good news about the ESS is that registration is now open- the first race takes place May 12th. If May 12th is too far away, then you need look no further than this weekend, when on April 8th, the Seoul World Inline Cup- here is a preview of the SWIC (in French). As long as I have internet access, I will be glued to the screen pressing refresh over and over again to see any updates! In case the SWIC is not enough to fill your racing boots this weekend, there is also the Trophe Des Trois Pistes- 3 days of racing in France.

Grand Rouen: You can view two reports (report 1 and report 2) and photo galleries (gallery 1, gallery 2, and gallery 3) from L’internationale du Grand Rouen. Click here for the full results.

Hegarty’s Little Things: This (The Little Things) is an interesting post about the non-skating and skating experiences that Andrew Hegarty is going through- he included a video of a relay- press play to view or click here.
