Disney Updates, FIC Nimes & Berlin, Nicole Begg Interview, Wheel Anti Reverse Technology, Hegarty & Ziegler Update, 3 Pistes Is Coming, Italy Pix

Disney Updates: I suppose you want to know what happened at the Disney Inline Marathon this past weekend. I’m sure if you’d like to know bad enough, you’ve already found what you’re looking for. If you haven’t found any news, then here are some links that might be of interest to you: The Inline Planet report: Mantia, Baena Rule the Mouse. The Inline Planet Forum is the source for the following results: Pro, Full results, and Half marathon. Patin Carrera has posted a report (in Spanish). Lots of discussion in Hyper’s Forum about different categories skating together and a few reports. You also have access to some discussion about the event on RaceReports.net’s Forum. SkateLog.com’s Forum posts talks about the safety of the infamous boardwalk and this thread has a lot of reports and experiences being shared.

I know you’ve been waiting for photos: The first set of photos comes from jessicalynnwright’s photo gallery.

FIC Nimes & Berlin: Racing this past weekend was not limited to Disney- The French Inline Cup held its first race in Nimes this weekend: Click here for a pre-race report and click here for some results. All this comes from Roller En Ligne, so of course it's in French. The Berlin Half Marathon also took place: Click here to read some race reporting and here for results.

Nicole Begg Interview: If you’d like to read a good interview with New Zealand’s world champion skater Nicole Begg from SpeedSK8ers.com, then click here. If you’re not into pictures of ‘dressed down’/ undressed skaters, then don’t click on the link. I held back on the following SpeedSK8ers.com article, but this might be a good time to link to it: again, if you’re skirmish about nudity, don’t follow the link! Click here for the SpeedSK8ers.com World Team.

Wheel Anti Reverse Technology: I will be testing the WART relatively soon; Bruce Honaker has finished making the prototypes and they are being shipped to me.

Hegarty & Ziegler Update: Andrew Hegarty and Sigrid Ziegler are continuing to share their experiences from training sessions in Switzerland. They took part in a Swiss Junior Team training camp: Andrew: April 1st- Swiss Junior Team Training Camp and Sigrid: ‘Long Day At The Office’.

3 Pistes Is Coming: MundoPatin has published a list of nations and clubs that will be participating at the Trophee Des 3 Pistes this coming weekend in France. You can also view a list of skaters- looks like just under 900 skaters will take part in this 3 track race celebration of racing!

Italy Pix: Pattinaggio Bellusco has posted photos from the Campionati Regionali RAJS: Click for album A, B, C, and D.
