This Weekend- Seoul World Cup & Trois Pistes, POL Roller Skating, Disney Photos
This Weekend- Seoul World Cup & Trois Pistes: I am spending this weekend with my family at a Cabane A Sucre (a sugar shack where they make maple syrup) in the heart of Quebec. We will be nearly 30 at the log house in the woods having an awesome meal!
Wherever you are this Easter weekend, a part of you is probably wishing you were in Seoul to skate in or watch the Kia Cerato Seoul World Inline Cup action. Well, I guess most of us can be jealous of, envious of, or happy for the Inline Planet’s Robert Burnson who is in Seoul. He is hoping to report on some of the action from the WIC, so keep your eyes posted on the Inline Planet. I’ll be away from the internet until Monday, so I will be going crazy, trying to figure out what happened in the race.
The other big race/ event that is taking place this weekend is the Trophee Des Trois Pistes (Trophy of the 3 Tracks)- it’s named that way because the event is held on three difference tracks and skaters earn points in each race- there’s a whole bunch of categories for the 900 or so skaters that will take to the races- There’s a new website at http://www.3pistes.com/ which has a section in English. Click here to (once again) view a list of registered clubs from all over the world, including the USA and Colombia!

POL Roller Skating: The website POL Roller Skating has a whole bunch of updates including videos from L’Internationale de Grand Rouen (I embedded the veteran's video from the Grand Rouen below- click here or press play below), photos from the Nimes en Roller (French Inline Cup), and photos from the Grand Fond French Championship. You can also find more pictures from the Nimes en Roller thanks to Roller Numerique (I think I might have linked to them before).

Sigrid finished 48th overall & 19th out of the WIC competitors! Not bad for her first WIC competition; she now has gained points in the WIC and will have an official ranking at the end of the year.
This is a first for Canadian Women!
