FlevOnIce Opens: This weekend marks the opening of FlevOnIce, a 5km outdoor skating rink in the Netherlands.

How about this for outdoor ice; the yard of the school where I teach has been covered in shimmering ice for the last week and a half. Some people have brought ice skates to skate on the yard. Pretty cool stuff. I was going to take a picture of the school yard today, but I don't have enough time. I have a plane to catch. I'm flying to Thunder Bay to visit my nephew Sebastien- see SPD.
