Toronto Night Skating: If you live in or near Toronto and you like night skating in the downtown core, then you'll be interested in reading that June 1st is set as the first Toronto Friday Night Skate. I've been to only one- a few years ago- and they're a ton of fun.

CITC's Gross Gerau Report: A report on the Gross Gereau event from last weekend has been posted on the CITC website. The report outlines the good, the bad, and the ugly of the event- some of my favourite parts of the report include 'Everyone thought the last race of the day was the incredible senior mens relay (France was amazing). Everyone was wrong because the last race was after the races the judges had a race to the beer tent to have a cold 1 (or 2) and enjoy each others company'.

World Cup News: Aaron Arndt continues to give an insider look into the World Inline Cup life (see Basel: 25km Team Time Trial [+ this stupid hand...]), something many of us who read/ make this website could only wish that we live. Aaron and will be competing in the Basel WIC team time trial this weekend. I'll try to keep my website updated throughout the weekend, but I can't promise anything. I will be training and relaxing in preparation for the upcoming trials for the Pan American Games- more on this later.


Next weekend's WIC race will be the Rennes (France) race. I expect that there will be many pictures and reports posted from this event- there is even promise of live coverage of the event thanks to Team Rollerblade. Better yet, there is supposed to be some race videos posted a few days after the event on the following website: Inline TV. I've bookmarked this site, beleive you me!
