ST World Cup: The ISU Samsung Short Track World Cup came to a conclusion today- see all the final results here.

Andrew Love always puts it best; Short Track Eruption!. I was really hopeing he'd come up with something for this event! He posted a video- check it out- Short Track world cup 500m Salt Lake city, -ERUPTION!. I love his description of the battle between Canada’s Charles Hamelin & Korea’s Si-Bak Sung (see the result)-

Ohno Zone's got some pretty good coverage; see Day 2 press roundup and Results from SLC, day 2.

Click here for the WCSN photo gallery of the event.

USARS Inline To Ice: Looks like USA Roller Sports is putting together an Inline to Ice Transition Camp; 'The purpose of the camp is to introduce or re-introduce inline skaters to both long and short track ice skating'.

Trans USA Update: Danny Dannels is still making his way across America- see his journal here. Here's an update for you; Trans USA Record attempt - report from the crew chief

Spot News: Speedskating-online's latest Spot News was posted a couple of days ago- I love the quotes;

'Some quotes:

Attack the corner
Go do your job!!
Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips, Hips
Skate, skate… come on skate
'

Lots Of Videos: If you're looking to find all sorts of skating videos, then you've come to my site at the right time- you can use the links or press play under each linked video- enjoy!

The first video is a short track skating video called A Sticky Situation- it's a perfect name for this video of a few short track skaters who fall, and two of them are, well, stuck together.

This next video is a really good short track speed skating video with all sorts of racing and behind the scences footage- it's well put together- Wide eyed look at a Ponys first Nationals- Go to the Start-

This video is, well, strange- Rollerskating Monkey. I still don't think it's real.

Here's a video from Salt Lake City's ISU Samsung Short Track Speed Skating World Cup- it features Steve Robillard winning his 1000-meter heat- ST World Cup 1000M Heat-

Here's another video from the Salt Lake City ST WC; ST World Cup 1000M Heat Ryan-

Next video is awesome; it is from last weekend's Quebec City ISU Samsung Short Track Speed Skating World Cup- 07/08 6th ISU World Cup Short track (1500m Final A)-

The final video is just plain nuts; I thought it was going to be really really cheezy, but it's just insaine; An autobot on rollerblades. It also look really cool & fun...-

Plenty Of Tips: Looking for advice for your training program? There's always more and more resources popping up on the web.

The latest Inline Planet's Skate Tip Of The Week was written by Dan Burger- he's an animal; I've raced with him many times. See How to Build Your Core Strength.

The Inline Planet's Ask Bill Begg! has a new addition to its expanding library; Kick the Ball and Buying Skates.

Here are a couple of more videos from the Begg Sport Coaching- Specific Offskate Plyometrics (you'll see Nicole Begg demonstrate plyometric exercises) and Technical Position Follow up. You can view the videos below-
