This Weekend, Long Track World Championships, Short Track World Cup Finale
This Weekend: Today's update won't be too long; I had a long day at work and I trained hard. Before I head to bed, I'd like to share a few links to events that you may want to keep your eyes on this weekend.
Long Track World Championships: The World Long Track Speed Skating Championships are taking place in Berlin, Germany. You should be able to find all the results here. I hope this next link also works for all of us; live video coverage of the world LT champs.
More good news; you can expect some very nice photos of the competition thanks to the fine folks at DESGphoto. You can probably expect some coverage of the event thanks to Speed Skating World Online Magazine.
Short Track World Cup Finale: The ISU Samsung Short Track Speed Skating World Cup is having its final stop in Salt Lake City- you can find live results here.
Ohno Zone has some pre-event and day 1 coverage- see Salt Lake City, day 1, Pre-World Cup press roundup, Live webcast of Salt Lake City World Cup, and Deseret News.
About the live webcast of the racing action, you should be able to use this link and find the competition you'd like to watch live. This weekend's live races are free to watch.
There's also videos of all sorts of competitions- both long and short track speed skating! Yeahh! There's a fee though, so be prepared to pay if you want to watch the videos on demand.
