Recent Pics, Recent Results
Recent Pics: Lots of pictures from the last few days for us to check out-
Let's kick it off with pictures from Calgary- CRISC's pictures from an indoor practice in January.

I know this isn't picutres, but it's close enough; Simon Clement's video from last weekend's Quebec City Samsung ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup- see ISU Quebec World Cup Short track speed skating- I think he really capture the energy of the event in its glory with the noisy crowd cheering on the Canadian skaters when they are introduced. You can hear the crowd, see crashes, hear the announcer, watch some amazing racing, and then you get to hear the pump-me-up song Eye Of The Tiger. As I type this, the video is playing LOUD in another window... I'm going to train..NOW!!- it's true, this is the last thing I typed for today's update.
Click here for photos from the NorthWest Invitational at the Skate Connection in Auburn, WA. When the album loads, click on the pictures you see, and you'll have acess to hundreds and hundreds of really good pictures... mind you they're not all perfect; there's a blurry picture on this page.

Aaron Arndt reported on last weekend's RSO Indoor Speed Series race in The Weakerthans. He says ' think the highlight had to be the crowd during Marco Frusteri’s races. There was a great energy, and I have to say thanks to the crowd for the energy. That was truly great'.

Peter -- I like that "there is a blurry one here" :)
The last shot you posted (http://bremertonspeed.org/2008/2008-01-Auburn/2008-01-26_Standard_Medium_Finals/03744.html) is from the Primay girls medium distance final. The girl is green is my daughter :) If you keep going the battle between the girl in 3rd and my daughter gets better :) resulting in http://bremertonspeed.org/2008/2008-01-Auburn/2008-01-26_Standard_Medium_Finals/03758.html
