E-Train Special, A2A Price Going Up Tonight, RSO Aylmer & Quebec Cup #1 Report, Rollerblade Incheon WIC Report & Pics, Ask Bill, SkateFan
E-Train Special: How about this deal; Barry Publow is offering a 3-month summer special custom online programming- the program should be of particular interest for those training for this fall's major events (A2A or the Northshore). There's tons of features in the program, including private online access featuring your own website, personalized monthly program with specific workout prescription, a 4 month macro plan, 2 detailed weekly interval training sessions, email/phone support, the list goes on and on. You can find more details at Breakawayskate e-train.
A2A Price Going Up Tonight: I am adding this quick reminder that the price for Athens to Atlanta (A2A) for all distances goes up by $15 on Saturday. You can find online registration here. While you're at it, you can check out who the hardcore people are who have registered. I am planning on skating this year's A2A, so hopefully we can see each other at the start line.

Ask Bill The Inline Planet's latest Ask Bill Begg is filled with good reading; about Chad Hedrick, he writes 'Another year, I remember a night of celebrating with Chad after he won the 1000 meters at the World Championships. He drank way too much and made a fool out of himself. I scampered off to bed before the police arrived and arrested him at 4 a.m. Nonetheless, he came back the next day and won the 20,000-meter elimination'.
Bill Begg also talks about wheels, saying 'As far as wheel size goes, as I said in an earlier column, the jury is still out. In the Glarus World Inline Cup in 2006, a petite woman (42 Kg, 5 feet tall) flew up the hill on 100mm wheels, beating all but eight of the men. Meanwhile, a tough skater on 80mm wheels finished second in the men's race'.
SkateFan: Here's a website that you might get some enjoyment out of; SkateFan. The site has a report on the Wiel Baancompetitie Nijeveen A from the Netherlands.
You can also find a report with results (at the bottom) thanks to Skate Bond Nederland. It goes without saying that Harm de Boer Fotografie allows us skate fans to access two photo albums;women and A men.
