USA Outdoor Nationals Photos: Linda Wood is planning on posting some photos from the USA Outdoor Nationals (she has some up...) from taking place in Colorado Springs. She's already put up some 30 practice pictures. The competition begins today with 200-meter sprints. Click here for a schedule of events. If you'd like to know a little bit about wheel size and what's allowed, Jim White offers an explanation in Hyper's Forum.

Colombian World Team Announced: I finally know which Colombian skater I will be facing at the Pan American Games in July- Diego Rosero! How cool is that? I'm a big fan of his and I am looking forward to the honour of racing him at one of the most prestigious events. Click here to read the press release naming the team.

Asia Games Update: How about this good news quote from the Olympic Council of Asia website: 'Include Cricket and Roller Skating in the sports programme of the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games'. The quote is in reference to the OCA's recent executive board meeting's decisions.
Incheon WIC: This Sunday will mark Korea's Incheon WIC. Roller En Ligne has a preview of the event called World Inline Cup WIC d'Incheon l'enfer de juin ! (for you non-French speaking Speed Skate World-ers, it means Incheon WIC the hell of June). This is an important event because the winner of the race will earn 200 WIC points as opposed to the regular 125 points. There's some news out there right now; the biggest being that Luca Saggiorato will not be competing in the race. Italy's Saggiorato who skates for Bont Hyper is currently 19th in the rankings.

Aaron's Adventure Continues: Aaron Arndt is continually feeding us with introspective and detailed reading material about his life in Europe and in the World Inline Cup. In his latest post "Pre-post"... get it? ha!, Aaron writes 'I think the reality is that any/everyone is going to have ups and downs in any form of athletics, and it isn’t really going to change your person. This notion is vital to understand in order to survive if/when your objective is to improve, gain experience, or if you’re coming from where I am, rookie, et all.'.
