RSO Outdoor Speed Series #1, 1991 Racing Video, USA Outdoor Champs Day 2

RSO Outdoor Speed Series #1:Very little time to write; watching Stanley Cup finals game #3 between Anaheim Ducks and Ottawa Senators. The RSO Speed Series #1 took place earlier today in Aylmer, Quebec. The event was well supported. It might have been the biggest 1st stage in the series' history. I won't post much about the racing right now- I'll let the results do the talking. 500-meter sprints were fast (Aylmer is usually a slow track)- winning times for the top guys were high 44's and high 45's. Brian Jalbert posted the fastest 500-meter sprint, JF Messier posted the fastest 1500-meter time trial, and I won the 10k. Top woman in each of the three races was Martine Charbonneau. Want to see my photos? I am sure you do. Click here to view the photos.

10k race- Martine Charbonneau leads Morgane Echardour (Echardour fell with 3 laps to go)

10k level 2 race- start line

10k level 2 race- at the start line are Bailin, Pailsey Perrie, and Hugh

10k level 2 race- Annick in front of Bailin and Paisley Perrie

10k level 2 race- Andrew McCallum leads the group which looks like it is lined up biggest to smallest

1991 Racing Video: I always love to see videos of older races- I really got a kick out of watching this video of Jan E. Kromkamp from 1991. It's funny that 1991 is 16 years ago. It really doesn't seem that long ago to me.

USA Outdoor Champs Day 2: The Inline Planet has posted an article on the USA outdoor champs called Brittany Shines at Outdoor Nationals. They are posted more detailed results on the USA Roller Sports website- the latest results to be added include the 1000-meter race and the points elimination. I'll cut and paste a few of them.
