Canadian News, It Was A Busy Weekend (T-Track, Weinfelden WIC & Dijon), USA News, Rennes WIC Video, Spain Championships

Canadian News: First off I'll send you off to the photo gallery from the TBN monthly marathon that I participated in (there are only 12 photo because I shot lots of video). For those of you who don't know what it is, it's a monthly trail marathon event. You show up, if you're not a TBN member, you pay $5, and it's self timed. It was a nice skate yesterday, despite a fall involving a couple of skaters. I've got the after-math on video, and I'll post the video soon.

Earlier today, I was out on the streets of Toronto raising awareness for roller speed skating, the plight of Canadian athletes, and trying to raise funds for my trips to the Pan American Games and the World Championships and I met a whole bunch of nice people. I just wanted to take a few lines of my website to say hello to a few people that I met today- it was nice talking with you and thanks for checking out my website. One person I talked to a lot is named Leo- he's from Mexico- asked me to plug an event that he's organized in Toronto for the Let Leo Stay Campaign- check out Invisible Struggle taking place on Thursday July 12th at 519 Church Street- 6:30pm.

Next, the article Canadian speed skater Arne Dankers visits Rwanda for Right To Play is a nice article- it's worth the read. Funny thing when I was out training yesterday, the guys were talking about Arne Dankers and how he rides his bike all the time- apparantely he rode his bike something like 12 hours to go to some sort of banquet and he also rides/ rode his bike from Calgary to Banff () with a few sandwiches in his backpack.

It Was A Busy Weekend (T-Track, Weinfelden WIC & Dijon): Indeed it was a busy weekend for those racing in Europe. I'll get you going really quickly in reverse chronological order-

Dijon results- I know you're looking for the, you know that I know you're looking for the results, and therefore you come to my website to get them! Here goes- international women's marathon results and international men's marathon results- for all other results from the Dijon FIC, click here. Quick note- looks like Aaron Arndt is starting to come in with more encouraging results- he finished 31st, ahead of a few big names. I don't know how they raced it out, but it looks good on paper. You can find Team Rollerblade's live report here.

Weinfelden WIC- You can check out Team Rollerblade's live report- I know it's not very live right now, but there's plenty for you to read if you're a hard-core fan like me ;) Click here for PatinCarrera's report.

T-Track- Aaron Arndt shares his excitement about the whole weekend in Last night: Relays. Today: Weinfelden. Tomorrow: Dijon. Zepto has posted a report with pictures and a whole bunch of words that look like jibberish unless I run the report through tranlation software. You can also check out a report on PatinCarrera. If you like to see videos- and you know you do- you can find videos of the men's final; start and finish of the race- looks like a ton of fun!!

USA News: Let's get you started today with some pictures from the USA Outdoor Nationals- click here for road and click here for track (tons and tons of photos that you can order) and click here for another pretty sweet photo gallery...now that I've taken my time to view the last photo album, I foudn that there are TONS of pictures, but one of the categories was so fast that all the pics are blurry (I think it's the senior men- road)- see the photo below!

The next link I'll forward you to is the results from the Wolverines Inline Marathon in Detroit- you can view them by division or by last name.

Final USA update- 4 Races 4 Money- what it is is a four races series in Salt Lake City.

Rennes WIC Video: Roller En Ligne has linked up to a video of the men from the Rennes WIC. Click here to view or press play below-

Spain Championships: MundoPatin has a report with all the results (at the bottom) from the Spain junior and senior championships.
