Inline In 2010 Asia Games: Excellent news for roller sports- I’ll copy the text that Alex Bont posted in the Planet Forum: ‘In a major step towards inline speed skating becoming an Olympic sport, inline speed skating has been accepted into the Asian Games. The first competition will be in 2010 in Guangzhou in Southern China. 45 nations and 12,000 competitors are expected to join the event. Yesterday, the city of Incheon in Korea home to the Incheon WIC event was selected as the winning bid for the 2014 Asian Games. Inline Speed Skating will also be a medal sport at these games. The Asian Games is similar to the Commonwealth or Pan American Games. Entry into the Asian Games is sure to give inline speed skating a boost in the region.’

More Glass: Good news! A number of forums and message boards are reporting that Julie Glass and Doug Glass have become the proud parents of twin girls on April 15th- the girls are named Victoria and Valentina. I thought Julie Glass looked 'bigger' the last time I saw her- but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to get beat up or banned from doing any races.

Tru Rev’s Uranus & Titan: Francisco Ramirez’s review of a few Tru Rev wheels called Tru-Rev Titan and Uranus Outdoor Wheels has been posted on the Inline Planet.

SpeedSK8rs.com Back Online: The website SpeedSK8rs.com, which was the first to break out with the famed Nicole Begg photos, is back online after experiencing increased web traffic and having the website shut down. If you haven’t had the chance to read the Nicole Begg interview, I give you permission to do so now.
